Consulting giant Accenture has partnered with tech behemoth Google to form AGBG (Accenture Google Cloud Business Group) in a bid to provide better digital experiences to enterprises. With this alliance, Accenture and Google jointly seek to scale the latter’s G Suite products, build business processes with AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Machine learning; and modernize enterprise infrastructure.
According to Accenture, the SME sector is growing with an objective of adopting new technologies to compete with global players. In order to scale their business quickly, Accenture say that enterprises are leveraging cloud technology to reach business goals faster.
By partnering with Google, Accenture believe that they will speed up the time taken by enterprises to transform digitally and scale quickly. They say that the alliance will focus on developing cross-industry solutions for SME clients based in North America, Europe and Japan.
Accenture say that in the initial phase, they will emphasize the retail, consumer packaged goods, and health industries to-
1) Build business processes with AI and Machine learning.
2) Scale G Suite across enterprises.
3) Create relevant customer experiences by combining Google Marketing Platform data with other enterprise data sources.
4) Modernize the infrastructure of enterprises.
Speaking about the alliance, Kevin Ichhpurani, Corporate Vice President of Business Development at Google Cloud, commented:
