SupervisedIT, a provider of managed cloud hosting and part of the ServerMania group, yesterday announced the introduction of a new zero-downtime public and private cloud platform based on OpenStack.
SupervisedIT’s OpenStack public cloud platform is said to provide storage infrastructure with instant server creation and scaling along with high-availability virtual compute. It’s cloud web interface enables fast and intuitive infrastructure control.
The key highlights of this product are the enhanced efficiency provided by a virtual platform combined with the security and control of a private physical infrastructure. The company claims that it has been engineered specifically for redundancy, performance and scalability.
SupervisedIT’s custom OpenStack private clouds are considered more cost effective than on-premise physical infrastructure. SupervisedIT promises that its infrastructure will provide data transfer rates of up to 10-times faster than traditional cloud service providers.
CEO, Kevin Blanchard explained:
Our clients have diverse infrastructure hosting requirements, and we have built a cloud platform engineered to provide the flexibility and choice that enterprise organizations demand.
He also claims:
Public, private, or hybrid cloud — each user can deploy the infrastructure they need with full confidence that our redundant high-availability platform will provide the constant uptime and exceptional performance they rely on.
