Cloud and data center provider Node4 has launched N4Stack, a wide range of services that enable Microsoft Azure users to migrate to an Infrastructure-as-a-Code model across data operations, secure DevOps and SysOps. With this launch, Node4 aims to allow managed service facilitators to provide a seamless hybrid service across their own as well as Microsoft’s data centers.
According to Node4, managed service providers, as well as enterprises, use legacy models to manage their data center services. They believe that these models hinder both parties from reaping the full benefits of the cloud.
By launching N4Stack, Node4 believe that their customers using Microsoft Azure will be able to migrate to a highly automated Infrastructure-as-a-Code model to bridge the gap while porting data from legacy models to Azure. They believe that this approach will allow customers to build new services that are cloud-native and add value, especially to Azure developers.
Speaking about this launch, Paul Bryce, Chief Commercial Officer at Node4, commented:
The N4Stack portfolio showcases the skills of the Node4 technical teams across data operations, security, DevOps, cloud and networking and sets a real benchmark in service innovation.
N4Stack has been a catalyst for us to re-think our service models and invest heavily in new technologies, embracing automation and a DevOps-aligned approach across all our platforms.
Microsoft say that they are thrilled with Node4’s value proposition for Azure customers. Explaining this, Mark Smith, Senior Director for Azure & AI, Microsoft UK, added:
Microsoft Azure enables Node4 to develop and deliver a hybrid solution that allows customers to take advantage of a host of new digital services, available on-demand and at scale. We are excited to see the value that the N4Stack services bring to Azure, especially in the data and DevOps space.
