South African enterprises are facing numerous cybersecurity challenges on a daily basis, claims First Distribution. They say that, in order to combat these attacks, enterprises end up integrating various services and products into their IT architectures to overwhelm their IT teams with the same.
By integrating CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform at their data centers, First Distribution claim that they will be able to deliver cyber protection services to enterprises across South Africa. They say that this platform will mitigate risks by leveraging its cloud-based endpoint detection capability.
According to CrowdStrike, the alliance will allow First Distribution to facilitate efficacy and scalability for every deployment. They also believe that this alliance will allow them to extend their suite of products and differentiate their offerings from competitors.
Experts claim that CrowdStrike’s modular approach and First Distribution’s wide network will enable customers to have integrated access across a full suite of threat intelligence, IT hygiene and device control. This deal is reminiscent of the partnership between Netskope and SentinelOne, where both entities came together to boost cloud security and endpoint capabilities.
