This week, IT solutions provider Distributed Systems Services (DSS) announced that it has combined with hosting, cloud and storage solutions provider Contegix, in a joint transaction financed by private equity firm Strattam Capital.

Combining with Contegix expands our portfolio, bringing added value to our clients and new opportunity to our team members.
The companies claim that the new joint enterprise will serve more than 700 clients and generate about $50 million in annual revenue, with 190 employees between its two US locations in Pennsylvania and Missouri. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The merged company will operate under the Contegix name.
