Real-time information and internet security provider Neustar has expanded its DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) network across EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa) region and Japan. With this expansion, Neustar will be able to fortify its global DDoS mitigation network, by building future-proof defense capabilities.
Neustar claim they want to bring DDoS attacks to knees by building a strong global network that mitigates an attack of the highest order. They further added that in order to do the same, expanding their network into Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia was imperative.
According to Neustar, they have introduced scrubbing centers in London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Marseille in Europe. They also added that the new centers at Stockholm in Sweden and Tokyo in Japan have gone live.
Speaking about the expansion, Barrett Lyon, General Manager, DDoS Defence at Neustar, commented:
As part of Neustar’s quest to end the DDoS attack arms race, the construction of our enhanced network with regionalized nodes is a game-changer for our customers.
We are continually future-proofing the network to meet and defeat new attacks head-on, with enhanced and localized scrubbing. Neustar is building a constantly evolving network that delivers clients with the required level of sophisticated DDoS defense capabilities needed to defend against the attacks of tomorrow.
