Telecom facilitator Ooredoo have partnered with Z Services to expand their product portfolio and strengthen their presence in the MENA (Middle East and North African) region. As per the terms of the deal, Ooredoo will be providing customers with cloud-based telecom security solutions to ensure on-premise deployments at a low cost.
According to Ooredoo, MENA market has experienced an IT boom with cloud and cybersecurity players providing a wide range of products. They say that in spite of having a large variety of IT deployment and security products, Ooredoo say that most telecom enterprises are not able to secure their IT environments entirely.
Hence, by partnering with Z Services, Ooredoo believe that they will be able to help customers secure their data through their in-country, multi-tenant cloud security architecture. They say that this alliance will help them facilitate web, email, cloud application, incident response and unified access management capabilities to enterprises in the MENA province.
Ooredoo believe that this partnership will allow them to scale across MENA and fortify their presence in the region, especially in Kuwait. They say that since Kuwait is one of the centres of IT excellence that draws customers from all over the world, partnering with Z Services was the best option.
Amine Tazi, Chief Strategy Officer at Ooredoo Kuwait believes that cybersecurity is an increasingly growing risk in the MENA region and mitigating the same was of utmost necessity. He added that they are excited with this deal and are looking forward to joining the team at Z Services to scale their business and provide end-to-end enterprise security solutions.
