Subscription business software provider Ubersmith have announced that they have extended their alliance with domain registrar Namecheap. As per the terms of the agreement, Namecheap will have access to priority support and more space to expand its use of Ubersmith software.
According to Namecheap, Ubersmith’s subscription software is used by them for handling workflow of customer orders from accounts set up via provisioning and billing. They also say that they manage and track all the customer service support orders with the help of Ubersmith.
Namecheap claim that the software is also used to track the inventory of hosting product equipment, reporting on the utilization of these resources and integration with cPanel and SolusVM for web hosting and virtual machines respectively.
Speaking about the alliance, Kurt Daniel, President of Ubersmith, commented:
It gives us great satisfaction to help enable the growth of Namecheap, a market leader in domain registration and hosting. This customer serves as a great example of the ability of our software to scale to whatever levels are required.
Hillian Klien, COO at Namecheap is delighted having struck the deal. He commented:
Ubersmith software offers us capabilities for efficiently running our business, which ultimately allows us to better serve our customers. It also provides us with valuable statistical data that we can use to improve our service offering. Additionally, our new agreement with Ubersmith gives us priority-level support.
