Whitelabel IT solutions’ ServeYourSite has partnered with global peering managed service provider GPIEX in a bid to reduce IP transit for its customers. With this alliance, ServeYourSite will be leveraging GPIEX’s Layer 2 switching platform to reduce network costs for clients.
ServeYourSite say that GPIEX’s Layer 2 platform aggregates all the ISPs to cut off IP transit time considerably. They further added that this allows clients to save on network costs, reducing their upfront capital investment.
GPIEX say that with this acquisition, they will be able to tap into ServeYourSite’s premium range of customers seeking hosting services. They also say that in partnership with ServeYourSite, they will be providing managed peer-based hosting services to customers seeking cost-effective solutions.
According to GPIEX, their strong network of more than hundred industry platforms will serve as a key advantage in furthering their managed peer-based hosting service. By using switching equipment to build a local network, GPIEX say that they will be able to take advantage of their carrier-neutral data centers to bring the vision of low-cost and fast IP transit to fruition.
Industry analysts opine that this alliance will strengthen ServeYourSite’s offerings by broadening their portfolio in the long run. It will be interesting to see how ServeYourSite makes the most out of this partnership deal.
