The Cloud computing provider RAX (rax.bg) has launched a service plan named vCLOUD Mini which is an entry-level cloud solution, delivered as Public or Private cloud and is powered by VMware cloud computing technology.

vCLOUD Mini is available on the European Virtual Data Center of RAX Cloud. The service is also available in other European locations through the Equinix data center and other cloud partners of RAX.

Dimitar Avramov, CEO of RAX said :

The vCLOUD Mini reduces time-to-market and the total cost of ownership for any new Internet based projects and business. It creates a very reliable, low cost cloud computing environment for them to develop and grow their projects.

According to Avramov, vCLOUD Mini is probably the only entry-level cloud service on the market that features High Availability (HA) at no additional cost. He claims HA functionality increases the cloud service availability and reduces application downtime.
