Cloud distributor Pax8 has joined hands with business continuity and data protection facilitators Axcient/eFolder to provide cloud-based products to managed service providers in North America. As per the terms of the deal, Pax8 will be providing Axcient/eFolder’s mobile-to-pc syncing tool Anchor and cloud-backup product Cloudfinder to empower business productivity for enterprises.
Pax8 say that enterprise mobility and data protection are two key principles to determine the efficiency of a business. They opine that employees across enterprises need to have access to important files that are stored in the cloud through their laptops as well as mobile devices to maintain this business efficiency.
To ensure that employees can access work-related files on-the-go, Pax8 say that they formed an alliance with Axcient/eFolder to distribute the latter’s syncing and data protection tools. They say that this alliance will allow enterprises to focus on business efficiency without worrying about data recovery, mobility and data security.
Speaking about this alliance, Ryan Walsh, Chief Channel Officer at Pax8, commented:
The new partnership with Axcient/eFolder enables us to deliver strong MSP-focused products that empower business productivity. Powered by the Pax8 cloud marketplace, MSPs will experience immediate provisioning, aggregated billing, and automation that provides a unique, best-in-class Cloud Wingman experience.
Complementing Walsh, Jason Bystrak, Vice President of worldwide channels and distribution at Axcient/eFolder, said:
Pax8 has proven the ability to make it easy for MSPs to adopt new technology solutions, stack it together, and fully automate it. Together, Axcient/eFolder and Pax8 offer the tools and solutions MSPs need to drive profitability and protect client’s data.
