Ivanti launches data center security solutions portfolio
The company has expanded its suite of solutions for data center and hybrid cloud security

This release marks the first in a series of Ivanti announcements to articulate the integrated strategic vision that includes products from LANDESK, Shavlik, AppSense, HEAT Software, Lumension and Xtraction.

Ivanti claims that this product portfolio offers the market’s strongest mitigation fabric for server and hybrid cloud security and expands Ivanti’s security solutions from the endpoint to the data center.

UK Cheap Hosts offers free SSL Certificates
The company is offering free SSL certificates for all its websites and will renew them automatically

UK Cheap Hosts, UK based web hosting company announced that it is offering SSL Certificates for its clients, free of cost. The company claims to provide its customers a chance to save money and make their websites secure and they will also renew the certificates for customers automatically.

The company says that customers can save up to £200 each year with the new company offering. They also added that there will be no cost of human intervention associated with renewing and setting up of the certificates. Any website that hosts with the company can easily be enabled for the free SSL certificates.

Cloud Security Alliance announces general availability of STARWatch
The new product is a SaaS application for cloud security management

The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the organization dedicated to defining and raising awareness of best practices to help ensure a secure cloud computing environment announced the launch of STARWatch, a Software as a Service (SaaS) application.

CSA says that the application is designed to provide organizations a centralized way to manage and maintain the integrity of the vendor review and assessment process. They claim that STARWatch will provide cloud users, providers, auditors, security providers with assurance and compliance on demand.
