DataBank undergoes data center expansion in Kansas City Market

The expansion seeks to meet the demand for rising cloud-based data center services in the region.

Weeks after expanding their data center prowess in Texas, data center and cloud connectivity provider DataBank have expanded their data centers in Kansas City Market, USA. With this expansion, DataBank will extend 25,000 sq.feet of space to make it 50,000 sq.feet of a facility in order to meet the demand for data center services.

According to DataBank, Kansas City Market is buzzing with the need for cloud-based data center services. They also say that the province has potential to grow given the growing rate of adoption of cloud services.

DataBank say that this data center is their 15th in totality and 3rd in Kansas. They also say that the facility will be redeveloped as per Tier-3 standards and go live with six fiber providers.

Speaking about the expansion, Raul K. Martynek, CEO of DataBank, commented:
