Polyverse announces cyber security partnership with Red Hat

Cyber security provider Polyverse have entered into a strategic alliance with RedHat to protect government and enterprise organizations from cyber attacks. With this alliance, Polyverse seeks to integrate their MTD (Moving Target Defense) technologies into Red Hat’s enterprise Linux platform to secure environments from malicious bots, malware and viruses.

According to Polyverse, government enterprises need to secure their hosting environments given the rising number of cyber attacks. They say that these enterprises store sensitive data that is confidential in nature and protecting the same is of utmost necessity.

By partnering with Red Hat, Polyverse claim that they will easily be able to meet the security needs of government enterprises. They believe that by harnessing the power of MTD, Red Hat’s Linux platform will be able to thwart cyber attacks that were once considered unstoppable.

Speaking about the MTD technology, Polyverse explained that it –

• Constantly changes the attack surface which becomes difficult to penetrate,
• Provides semantically equivalent software with identical performance,
• Randomizes memory layout of the entire software stack in Linux and,
• Easily integrates itself into operational processes without changes in the solution.

It will be interesting to see how Polyverse make the most of this alliance with Red Hat, following the acquisition of Nooba for data storage and hybrid cloud.
