E-commerce company Paytm have partnered with Alibaba Cloud to launch AI-based (Artificial Intelligence) cloud computing platform Paytm AI Cloud for India for developers, startups and enterprises. With this launch, Paytm will be automating their workflows, payments, messages and customer engagement applications in order to avoid hardware-software maintenance.
According to Paytm, organizations need to adopt upcoming technologies such as artificial intelligence to quickly deploy and access their cloud applications. They claim that this approach helps organizations to keep pace with competitors and offer customers what they need at the drop of a hat.
Sujit Kumar Mishra, Vice-President, Paytm, commented:
Every organisation needs to be AI-enabled. They need access to infrastructure to quickly sandbox their ideas, run through multiple experiments, and iterate hypothesis without worrying about managing their infrastructure.
Paytm claim that the AI Cloud platform will process as well as store all their consumer data within India so that their ready-to-use services can automate workflows, customer engagement applications, payments as well as messages. They further added that no third party or investor will be allowed to access this critical data.
By leveraging their AI Cloud platform for India, Paytm revealed that they will be partnering with DingTalk, an enterprise communication and collaboration platform, to offer messaging solutions to organizations of all sizes.
A spokesperson for Paytm commented:
It has a marketing automation platform to foster a one-on-one relationship with every customer across multiple channels. Enterprises can now easily design their customer’s lifecycle, interaction touch-points, offer differentiated services, and rewards that matter to their business.
