Cyber-risk management firm RiskSense have entered into a strategic alliance with WhiteHat Security to automate web application security risk management. As per the terms of the alliance, RiskSense will integrate their platform with WhiteHat’s Sentinel Dynamic to identify vulnerabilities for business-critical data and suggest remedies for the same.

According to WhiteHat, monitoring and prioritizing cyber threats has become critical for organizations. They also say that by detecting these vulnerabilities, organizations will be able to safeguard their business-critical data.

Speaking about the alliance, Srinivas Mukkamala, co-founder and CEO for RiskSense, commented:

Reliable detection, monitoring, and analysis of web applications composed of multiple programming languages, frameworks, APIs, and application types is difficult without automation.

The integration of WhiteHat with the RiskSense platform combines WhiteHat’s industry-leading application security testing capabilities with our ability to score threats based on their business risk so organizations can collaborate and address the most critical problems before they can be exploited.

WhiteHat say that by integrating RiskSense’s platform with their product, threat detection will be precise and accurate. Speaking about the partnership, Craig Hinkley, CEO of WhiteHat Security, commented:

With this integration between our platform, which provides the highest level of accuracy in the industry, and the RiskSense platform, which offers the most advanced and scalable solution for correlating and analyzing threat data, we’re able to deliver more comprehensive intelligence about threats and support faster remediation decision-making.
