Zenlayer expands in EMEA & APAC with Equinix

Zenlayer will leverage the Equinix platform to expand its offerings to more territories.

Zenlayer, a network and service provider of SDN technology, has announced that it is expanding its colocation and hosting capabilities with Equinix, a colocation provider, into Dubai, UAE and Melbourne, Australia.

Dubai and Melbourne are the latest additions to Zenlayer’s data center portfolio, which it claims includes more than 50 data centers across six continents.  Zenlayer is also using Equinix’s global platform for global scale to reach markets including Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, Silicon Valley, Washington D.C., Hong Kong, Paris, Sao Paulo, Shanghai and Singapore.

Equinix claims that all it’s global data centers have proven operational reliability, with global uptime of 99.9999% in 2015 and that both Dubai and Melbourne data centers are carrier neutral.
