Z Services have partnered with cybersecurity giant McAfee to provide cloud security solutions in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) market. As per the terms of the partnership deal, Z Services will expand their cloud-based offerings across SaaS, PaaS, IaaS platforms like Azure, AWS, Dropbox and Office 365.
According to Z Services, enterprises deploying workloads on the cloud need to protect vital business data from cyber risks and attacks. They say that the platforms which host their workloads are protected but their security is not enough, considering the kind of cyber attacks that are taking place in recent times.
Moreover, the security company claims that enterprises in MENA, that have been deploying the cloud for years now, are also facing similar issues when it comes to protecting critical business data.
In order to protect the workloads of enterprises in MENA, Z Services say that they have partnered with McAfee with an aim to provide a wide range of cloud security solutions. They further added that with this alliance, they will be leveraging the network of the cybersecurity giant to ensure that Z Services penetrate the deep pockets of MENA.
Nidal Taha, President at Z Services states that enterprises in MENA require a solution that can guarantee security over not just one, but across multiple cloud applications. He believes that by partnering with McAfee, they will be able to provide threat detection and monitoring capabilities to identify and eradicate cyber attacks of all kinds.
Z Services say that the alliance was possible because of McAfee’s MVISION cloud could be integrated into the former’s cloud offerings by adding extra layers of security.
Nigel Hawthorn, EMEA (Europe Middle East Africa) Director of Cloud Security at McAfee believes that a security arrangement of this kind will empower organizations all over MENA to use the cloud more than ever. He further stated that McAfee’s MVISION Cloud acted as an enabler in this deal and allowed both parties to expand further into the market.
It will be interesting to see how Z Services makes the most of this, following McAfee’s launch of a cloud security solution for Azure.
