Managed hosting provider Webair has launched new business continuity and Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) solutions for organizations migrating to hybrid IT environments. With this launch, Webair seek to greatly reduce IT management complexities and simplify migration by taking the load off critical resources.
Webair say that they have launched three backup offerings:
- DR lite, an economical DRaaS product for the mid-sized business segment, which will help organizations in the segment to save costs,
- RRaaS(Ransomware-Recovery-as-a-Service), a vendor-agnostic recovery service which will help organizations scan cyber threats continuously and breach attacks; and
- SDN and Security Integration, a Software-defined Network capability product that provides resilience during network failures.
According to Webair, the whole purpose of these offerings is to walk hand in hand with changing hybrid environments in a bid to ease pain points for customers. Explaining this in detail, Sagi Brody, Chief Technology Officer of Webair, said:
The definition of enterprise production environments is becoming increasingly blurred as customers migrate toward a hybrid cloud infrastructure model. Disaster recovery solutions must be designed to match even the most complex IT environments to ensure the highest level of resilience. Our enhanced orchestration capabilities and integration with software-defined automation allow us to proactively ensure that these solutions will perform when and if they are needed.
