Hardware engine company Titan IC is all set to revolutionize high speed complex file scan with the launch of ‘Hyperion F1 10G RegEx File Scan’. This launch, which is aimed at developers providing high end search and scan applications, offers superior performance with significantly lesser reliance on virtual CPUs.
Titan IC say that the F1 10G RegEx File Scan essentially is an FGPA based Regular eXpression Processor (RXP) designed to be used as a CPU offload accelerator. This product, which will be hosted on Amazon EC2 F1 compute instance, is said to deliver throughput acceleration of upto 10 Gbps and will be equipped with all SDK tools a software engineer would require to develop cutting edge applications.
The Hyperion F1 API is said to allow easy and direct integration off offload acceleration into the customer applications supporting up to 1 million basic POSIX/PSRE or up to 10 thousand complex rules.
Titan IC also claim that they will soon be launching AWS F1 products aimed at network analytics and security applications.
