SiteTech Group, the company behind the SiteHost brand has announced the acquisition of WebSlice Limited, a New Zealand-based hosting provider. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
WebSlice has headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand and offers services like cloud hosting, dedicated servers, shared hosting and co-location services.
Nathan Russ, Managing Director of SiteTech Group said that adding WebSlice to the group along with its flagship brand SiteHost is a great way to expand SiteTech’s product offering and reach a wider audience of customers.
Russ added:
With the hosting industry growing and changing rapidly, it is important that we offer a wide range of services to customers across the board and have brands tailored to those customer specific needs. Acquiring WebSlice is an excellent way for us to take further steps towards that goal.
SiteTech also announced that WebSlice’s customers will continue to receive the same services they have over the past few years with the extra resources provided by the SiteTech Group. The companies say that the deal will improve both performance and reliability across the product range.
The ownership change is expected to be completed by the end of the month.
