Managed cloud hosting company Reliam have acquired AWS consulting and managed services provider Stratalux. With this acquisition, Reliam seeks to fortify their business relationship with AWS and strengthen their presence in the U.S. market.

Reliam say that the demand for public cloud platforms is on the rise with government and business organizations migrating to cloud environments. They also say that the popularity of AWS is one of the key drivers of this migration.

By acquiring Stratalux, Reliam say that they will be able to leverage the AWS partnership and accelerate the adoption of AWS cloud for customers worldwide. They also say that their acquisition with Stratalux is a perfect fit, given the complementary nature of their services.

Speaking about the acquisition, Simon Anderson, CEO at Reliam, commented:

We have been impressed with Stratalux’s successes in the AWS cloud services ecosystem, and our teams are really excited to be joining forces.

Our combined team and expert insights into how best to migrate or run apps and workloads on AWS – and then execute continuous integration of software and performant management of data – will enable our customers to rapidly leverage the latest innovations in cloud computing services including serverless computing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

Echoing Anderson’s thoughts, Jeremy Przygode, CEO & Founder of Stratalux said:

We’ve long viewed Reliam as a respected colleague that approaches cloud consulting and managed services with the same dedication and customer-centric viewpoint as we do.

We really look forward to combining our talents and capabilities, as we grow together to improve on the cloud-centric advantages we deliver for customers.
