IT firm Netskope have acquired Sift Security to boost its cloud security portfolio. With this acquisition, Netskope will be integrating Sift’s CloudHunter platform into their own security offerings to provide threat detection, visualization, correlation and response mechanism capabilities on the cloud.
According to Netskope businesses are demanding different means of tackling cloud security. They claim that with the rise of mission-critical applications, securing them in cloud environments has become the number one priority for organizations.
By acquiring Sift Security, Netskope say that they will be integrating the former’s CloudHunter platform into their cloud security offerings to fortify their product portfolio with threat detection and visualization capabilities. In addition to this, Netskope say that they will be able to provide correlation capabilities as well as response mechanism features to businesses and cater to specific security needs.
