Infosys launches new Microsoft cloud business unit

The launch aims to provide cloud-based solutions to enterprises ranging from infrastructure to business applications.

Tech giant Infosys have launched a new Microsoft cloud business unit in a bid to provide cloud offerings to enterprise customers. With this launch, Infosys will be providing a vast range of solutions from infrastructure to applications in order to accelerate digital transformation for enterprises.

Infosys say that organizations have taken up cloud transformation seriously and are looking to leverage its benefits. They believe that with this attitude adopted by enterprises, launching a Microsoft cloud business unit was necessary to focus on their myriad needs.

According to Infosys, Microsoft cloud business unit will consist of a pool of trained consultants, architects and sales teams dedicated to four areas- data analytics, workplace, business applications and app development and infrastructure. Speaking about the launch, Ravi Kumar S, President and Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Infosys commented:
