Cloud service provider HyperGrid has launched the latest version of their SDN (Software Defined Networking) cloud-based platform HyperCloud. With this launch, HyperGrid claim that they will help MSPs ( Managed Service Providers) and enterprises with an economical cloud-based platform to grow revenue streams and avoid lock-ins.
HyperGrid say that the latest version of HyperCloud intelligently manages software-defined capabilities for applications as well as analytics. They also say that these capabilities are built on three pillars of cloud, namely- Automation, Agility and Application Transformation.
Explaining this, Manoj Nair, Chief Product Officer at HyperGrid said:
The Software-Defined Cloud builds on the key tenets of the cloud model, namely Application Transformation, Automation, and Agility, and helps MSPs and enterprises to grow revenue sources and avoid lock-in. Organizations need the automation, intelligence and flexibility to use the right cloud for the right workload.
Our unique approach brings all key capabilities for customers into a single technology stack to reduce risk, minimize operational overhead, and dramatically accelerate time to value for our customers.
Industry watchers say that the launch of HyperCloud’s new version is timely since there has always been a demand for a solution that spans public as well as private cloud environments. Emphasizing this, Henry Baltazar, Vice President, Research Infrastructure at 451 Research commented:
There is a clear need for a platform that spans private and public clouds, to help organizations to modernize and transform to the Cloud Era. HyperGrid’s cloud management platform enables organizations to intelligently manage workloads across all IT infrastructure in a single pane of glass.
