Web hosting provider DreamHost has expanded its managed WordPress hosting service ‘DreamPress’ in a bid to provide users with powerful WordPress hosting solutions. With this expansion of ‘DreamPress’, DreamHost will allow users to avail cost-effective hosting plans to suit their requirements.

DreamHost say that DreamPress packages were launched in December last year, keeping their customer’s preferences in mind. They also say that keeping their customer’s needs at the fore helped them design these packages to help users leverage the features of WordPress hosting service.

According to DreamHost, DreamPress’ packages are divided into three slabs namely- DreamPress Basic, DreamPress Plus and DreamPress Advanced. They further added that these hosting packages will be empowered by DreamHost’s open source cloud platform DreamCompute.

Speaking about DreamPress’ packages, DreamHost said that the Basic plan starts at USD 16.95/month and serves as an entry point for those who are new to managed WordPress hosting. They also said that Plus, starting at USD 24.95/month and Advanced starting at USD 39.95/month, will be more suited for those who are already familiar with managed WordPress hosting or those looking to add more resources.

DreamHost claim that all their plans will be supported by automatic resource scaling option for storage, backup etc. They also added that as the plans move from Basic to Advanced, users can avail sophisticated add-ons and integrations such as 200 premium WordPress themes and high-speed SSD storage (Solid State Drive).

It will be interesting to see how customers react to this offering. All eyes are on DreamHost and their managed WordPress package DreamPress.
