Lithuania-based hosting provider Hostens has launched an affordable VPN service for small businesses as well as individuals. With this launch, Hostens aims to secure sensitive business information from hackers as well as ad-networks in order to provide a more secure surfing experience for customers.
According to Hostens, small businesses are more vulnerable to hacking attacks since they cannot deploy sophisticated security tools. They further added that in order to allow SMBs to secure their hosting environment, launching an affordable VPN service became necessary.
With this VPS service, Hostens say, an extra layer of protection will be added to mitigate the number of harmful attacks. Speaking about this launch, Arvydas Strausas, the CEO of Hostens, commented:
We use plenty of various applications each day. In fact, not all of them are secure. At the end of the day, insecure browsing can end with a theft of our passwords or other personal information. Basically, the VPN service is one of the most reliable solutions to protect ourselves from it.
Hostens claim that their VPN service is encrypted with AES 256, one of the most secure encryption ciphers used. They also say that setting up this service will be neither time-consuming nor complicated for their customers.
In closing, Hostens added that they are making this service available for Asian, American as well as European markets.
