Internet domain name registrar GoDaddy has acquired Serbia based ManageWP, a platform that lets users manage multiple websites from a single dashboard. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Earlier this year, GoDaddy acquired cloud-based communications company FreedomVoice, before they launched a new app called Flare which was designed to help new entrepreneurs in getting feedback for their business ideas.
ManageWP offers a range of services, including website monitoring, backups, deployment, publishing, etc. Their centralized dashboard for managing multiple WordPress websites is recognized as their USP. Through this deal, GoDaddy says that they can offer bloggers with better publishing tools.
Jeff King, SVP of hosting at GoDaddy, stated in a press release :
GoDaddy is serious about investing in WordPress, and ManageWP is by far the leading tool for managing WordPress sites.
Together, we’ll bring ManageWP to the scale of GoDaddy, helping web designers and developers save thousands of work hours and touch millions of websites globally, no matter where they are hosted.
