Episerver, a platform to manage digital commerce, content management and digital marketing in the cloud, announced today at the 2016 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference the launch of the Episerver Digital Experience Cloud Evaluation Web App within the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
The Azure Marketplace App will allow Microsoft partners, implementers and developers around the world to access and test Episerver’s Digital Experience Cloud platform’s capabilities. Designed exclusively for the Azure Marketplace gallery, the new package seeks to help users build a sample web site that runs on Episerver’s cloud platform with an underlying SQL Azure database to provide a better understanding of the platform’s capabilities.
The company claims that this try-it-before-you-buy-it approach helps marketers and commerce professionals understand how they can significantly improve web and mobile digital experiences using Episerver. According to Karen Chastain, director of strategic alliances and global partners at Episerver, the Episerver Digital Experience Cloud is purpose-built for agility, leveraging technologies like Microsoft .NET and Azure, which allows the company to deliver a robust, and flexible platform. The flexibility of the platform reduces risk, decreases time-to-launch and allows for elastic scaling with seasonal peaks in demand, which is essential to digital experience strategies. She added:
When experiencing difficulties accessing a mobile website, 42 percent of consumers leave the site. This is why it’s imperative for retailers, brand manufacturers and B2B organizations’ websites to prioritize engaging content and interoperability with transactional tools. By providing an Evaluation Web App, we’re now able to showcase Episerver’s capabilities in front of as many Microsoft users as we can with the goal of helping them create and develop engaging and efficient experiences.
