This week, eApps Hosting announced the launch of its third PaaS location in network provider Packet’s New York data center. The company says that the new location, New York Metro (NYM), is ideal for eApps’ hosting services for the North American and European markets.
eApps say that Packet was selected after a comprehensive evaluation of the leading bare metal providers, based primarily on rankings in four categories – performance, flexibility of server and network configuration, vendor responsiveness, and the value proposition. Packet scored the highest rating in all categories, as well as in the sophistication of their global network.
eApps also added that its NYM deployment is a premier location for its PaaS offering. This service runs on the Jelastic PaaS system, a hosting platform which is designed for developers and system administrators.
The company also announced that the eApps PaaS is backed by an in-house 24/7 support department and free support for customers who need help while deploying their sites.
