Datacenter.com announces new data center in Amsterdam

The company claims that AMS01 features the most advanced data center architecture in the industry

Today, Datacenter.com announced that construction of their new Amsterdam (AMS01) data center has begun. With the new flagship data center, the company intends to target enterprises and cloud service providers from all parts of the world.

The company says that the data center is designed to meet the growing demand for scalable, reliable, secure, on-demand co-location services and will run entirely on green power. The facility will be carrier-neutral and will be 10,900 sq.mt. with power up to 10 MW.

The data center will have 5000 sq.mt. of raised floor and will include support and office space for co-location customers worldwide. The company announced that the facility is expected to be operational by spring 2017.
