Completion of Phase 2 construction of their new datacenter allows for expansion of its platform and services
Canadian Web Hosting, a leading provider of web hosting infrastructure, Canadian Cloud Hosting, managed support and network services, has completed the Phase 2 construction of their Vancouver, BC datacenter on their 5-acre campus just outside of the city limits. eSecureData, or DC3, is the company’s first wholly-owned Canadian datacenter in Vancouver, BC, and was built, the company claims, in response to the lack of premium colocation and cloud colocation options for the British Columbia business and technology community. Canadian Web Hosting is known in the industry for providing premier infrastructure services including cloud servers, private clouds, web hosting and colocation with industry best service and support.
Engineered for flexibility, eSecureData can accommodate colocation requirements from single cabinet to large wholesale deployments. The datacenter provides a choice of multiple diverse network carriers, and provides redundancy and greater competitive pricing. DC3 was designed for maximum reliability and performance, the facility has multiple underground utility feeds that can accommodate all types of colocation requirements, including the most demanding HPC (High Performance Computing) and cloud hosting environments.
“eSecureData was constructed to support the unprecedented growth we’re experiencing in the region especially in the Canadian Cloud. Our price points and capabilities exceed the old-guard data centre providers in the region. More importantly, our goal is to provide a service that takes the guess work out colocation hosting.” said Matt McKinney, Chief Strategy Officer at Canadian Web Hosting.
Canadian Web Hosting will continue to operate DC1, their datacenter that is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, but moving future services and customers to the new facilities. They also operate three other datacenters in Canada and offer a suite of Canadian colocation, web hosting, cloud hosting and managed services in data centers located in Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON.
