IT firm Atos have launched their cloud access solution for enterprise customers in a bid to provide security to data and applications in the cloud. With this launch, Atos will be leveraging McAfee’s cloud-based product Skyhigh to safeguard customers with a Cloud Access Security Broker Solution.
According to Atos, enterprises need a safe and secure solution that allows them to access data as well as applications anytime and from any device. They believe that this flexible nature of work needs to be complemented by a product that can allow employees to access data easily.
By launching their new CASB (Cloud Access Security Broking) solution with McAfee, Atos claim that organizations will be able to ensure data protection, compliance policy enforcement, and threat protection, whilst empowering employees to collaborate and communicate in a modern workplace.
Speaking about the benefits, Atos say that their new CASB service will be able to:
1. Discover and remediate risk from the use of Shadow IT as well as control and enforce data privacy policies.
2. Protect enterprises’ data through public, private and hybrid cloud environments.
