Cloud giant Alibaba have launched their second Indonesian data center to double their local capacity. With this launch, Alibaba seek to support the growing startup and SME ecosystem in the country that relies on cloud technology for everyday workloads.
According to Alibaba, enterprises of all shapes and sizes in Indonesia depend on cloud services to manage critical data. They say that with storage, recovery of data in the cloud is also essential since the information is important for business.

Praising the growing demand for data centers in Indonesia, Leon Chen, General Manager of Alibaba Cloud Singapore and Indonesia claims that the region provides robust potential for foreign as well as domestic firms. He believes that further growth is expected given the talent that exists in Indonesia and its adjutant countries.
