Online brand protection provider Incopro announced that they have engaged with online dispute specialist SILKA to boost their domain name recovery services. With this mutual interest, Incopro will strengthen the legal component of their IP (Intellectual Property) protection services to offer a holistic suite of solutions to enterprises seeking quick action on domain name recovery.
Incopro say that enterprises that leverage their presence online, encounter problems with respect to recovering their domain name because of legal hassles. They say that these hassles can affect the enterprise’s brand name in the market and also prevent them from reusing the domain name.
By engaging with SILKA, Incopro believe that they will secure their ability to handle domain name disputes anywhere in the world. They also claim that the arrangement will bring in the required expertise and open up a wider array of enforcement options available to Incopro’s clients, making it easier for them to take down websites damaging their brand’s reputation.
Speaking about the arrangement, Simon Baggs, CEO at Incopro, commented:
Our customers appreciate prioritisation is at the heart of what we do. Not every domain name issue should be met with a recovery action.
But where this is desired, we want our customers to have access to the best and most cost-effective advice. SILKA have a phenomenal reputation and will enhance the service that we can provide. We are delighted to be working with them.
SILKA believe that this arrangement with Incopro fits like a glove since they have had experience handling domain, IP and brand protection services for years. They also claim that this engagement will allow them to action the intelligence provided by Incopro and arrive at solutions that are best for enterprise customers in the long run.
Cecilia Borgenstam, Group CEO at SILKA, commented:
We work with the same type of companies, and our expertise in shutting down websites that damage a brand is a natural complement to the technology of Incopro. We are very happy to get to help more companies with this.
It will be interesting to see the turn of events when it comes to domain name recovery, following KnowBe4’s launch of fake domain name identifier called ‘Domain Doppelgänger’.
