ICT (Information Communication and Technology) provider IRIDEOS have acquired cloud company Enter in order to expand the former’s product portfolio. With this acquisition, IRIDEOS seeks to consolidate their position in the cloud market throughout Italy.
According to IRIDEOS, European enterprises have assimilated cloud into their IT strategy and are looking to leverage cloud-based solutions to accelerate their workloads. They claim that by adding cloud-based solutions to their portfolio, they will help enterprises to fortify their data center network and connectivity.
By acquiring Enter, IRIDEOS say that they will be able to provide a wide range of solutions like storage, network, DNS (Domain Name System) and CDN (Content Delivery Network) solutions that are required to build an effective cloud service. They also added that IRIDEOS will continue leveraging their fiber network and connectivity solutions to provide enterprises with holistic services.
