Mobile operator company Polycom have launched cloud-based services for enterprise segment customers in order to improve employee experiences for conference rooms and chat applications. With this launch, Polycom will be integrating PDMS (Polycom Device Management Services) for enterprises and their vendors to manage devices and measure their performance.
According to Polycom, enterprises are empowering their employees with cloud-based devices to simplify communication as well as collaboration. They say that this segment is open to newer devices which can help them monitor and gauge the performance of these devices in a bid to cut their IT costs.
Sensing a steep rise in demand for such services, Polycom unveiled cloud services to better the experience of employees on chat devices and conference rooms. They say that these services will enable IT professionals to seamlessly manage all their devices including desk phones from a single cloud portal.
Along with enterprises, Polycom say that service providers and vendors will also benefit from improved uptime and the ability to anticipate and reduce customer issues with this launch. Speaking about the launch, Tarun Loomba, Executive Vice President, Global Solutions at Polycom, commented:
