NTT Communications have completed the acquisition of managed service provider Secure-24. With this acquisition, NTT seeks to strengthen their managed portfolio in order to expand their global footprint.
According to NTT, managed services have a great demand worldwide and by adding Secure-24 to their portfolio, their customers can avail services such as SAP, SAP HANA, Oracle, Microsoft, Hyperion etc. They also say that this acquisition will allow them to grow significantly, especially in the U.S market.
Speaking about the acquisition, Mike Jennings, CEO of Secure-24, commented:
This acquisition brings the unparalleled service levels, application expertise, security and compliance support of Secure-24 to the global NTT community.
NTT say that this acquisition will enhance their ability to meet cloud and hybrid IT environments with high-quality managed services. They also believe that NTT will be able to continuously support the business transformation for customers by enhancing their IT systems.
Secure-24 claims that with this deal, NTT will be able to leverage on their managed services prowess and gain access to their customer base as well. They also say that this move will give NTT a strategic advantage in evolving markets such as Europe and South East Asia.
Neither companies have disclosed the terms of the deal.
