Data center operator MainOne Cable’s subsidiary MDXi and cloud-based financial software provider Trintech are all set to undergo data center expansion in Nigeria and APAC region respectively. With the expansion, MDXi and Trintech will be equipping their data centers with the latest equipment in a bid to speed up performance for their clients.
According to MDXi, data centers will pull investment from various countries and catapult the economy of the country to a higher level. They further state that in order to meet this objective, the federal government must encourage the deployment of data centers in the country.
With organizations looking to fasten the pace of business by leveraging IT infrastructure, expanding data center facilities was imperative, say MDXi. This they say made investing USD 6.5M in their data center facility at Lagos, an up and coming business hub in Nigeria a necessity. They further added that this expansion will also be followed by MDXi extending their global footprint of data centers in Senegal, Ivory Coast and Nigerian cities of Sagamu and Accara.
Trintech say that the Australian cloud market is growing at a fast pace and responding to their growing demands quickly was critical. They also claim that their presence in the Australian market has made them aware of customer need and they will use this acumen to deliver solutions at speed.
Speaking about this in detail, Michael Ross, Chief Product Officer at Trintech, commented:
We are entirely focused on our customers’ needs and experience with our solutions, and this investment illustrates this commitment to ensuring a best in class experience wherever our customers are.
