Zadara are all set to expand their SaaS services to both AWS and Equinix customers in the AWS’ EU Region in Paris. With this expansion, Zadara have entered in the fourth European AWS Region to offer their Virtual Private Storage Array (VPSA) services, after AWS EU (London), AWS EU (Frankfurt) and AWS EU (Ireland).
A year after expanding their storage services in AWS China, Zadara say that accelerating their European plans was necessary given the migration of customers from Cap-Ex based storage services to Op-Ex based storage services. In a bid to tap this trend, Zadara say that they will be offering their storage services to SMEs, government and educational organizations demanding these services.
Zadara claim that their observation about the changing trend in the storage service industry is also backed by market research firm IT Brand Pulse who claim that Op-ex based storage services will account for 50% of the market by 2020.
Speaking about the expansion, Noam Shendar, Vice President and General Manager, Hyperscale Cloud Business at Zadara, commented:
We are thrilled to be adding support for our 14th global AWS Region. This expansion not only adds value to local businesses in France, but offers a broader range of options to GDPR-conscious customers throughout the European region and beyond.
Zadara Storage Cloud is now available to a greater number of AWS and Equinix customers – addressing the strong demand for Zadara data services in the local region.
Echoing Shendar’s thoughts, Frank Berry, CEO, IT Brand Pulse said:
Zadara is delivering on the promise of flexible, agile and scalable storage-as-a-service solutions – worldwide. Corporate enterprises are demanding enterprise grade functionality in a pay-as-you-go model.
Zadara’s new expansion into Paris, France, demonstrates its commitment to maintaining a leadership position in this rapidly growing market. With the combination of AWS, Zadara and Equinix offerings, customers have unique and compelling benefits.
