Data center company TierPoint have partnered with network connectivity provider Zayo Group in a bid to ease access to the cloud for enterprises. As per the terms of the alliance, TierPoint will leverage Zayo’s CloudLink Solutions to accelerate cloud connectivity through a single port at the enterprise’s location.
TierPoint claim that enterprises are increasingly looking for cloud computing solutions to manage more applications and workloads. They also claim that speed is a critical decision maker when it comes to buying such solutions since business objectives are at stake.
Recognizing this need, TierPoint say that they have partnered with Zayo to bring CloudLink to their customer’s location. They further added that this will enable TierPoint’s customers to extend their network without compromising speed and efficiency.

Responding to our clients’ evolving, multi-dimensional needs, this agreement is a significant step toward expanding the menu of connectivity options for our data centers and cloud pods, as we continue enhancing our market-leading, edge-infrastructure solutions.
According to Zayo, the alliance will allow TierPoint’s customers to extend enterprise WAN (Wide Area Network) to the global cloud. Speaking about the deal, Tyler Coates, Enterprise Segment lead at Zayo Group, said:
We look forward to working with TierPoint to accelerate the value they are delivering to their clients.
