Data center companies Telehouse and Sabey have entered into a strategic alliance in a bid to grow their data center footprint. With this alliance, Telehouse gains access to Sabey’s Tier-III wholesale data centers at Ashburn, New York, Seattle and Manhattan.
Telehouse say that since the data center offerings provided by Sabey complement their portfolio, forming an alliance became imminent. They further added that with strong connectivity networks provided by both parties, it will be easy to leverage on each other’s ecosystem to provide unique offerings to clients. Explaining this, Sandra de Novellis, Head of Partner Alliances at Telehouse commented:
Telehouse and Sabey’s complementary offerings and business models provide a comprehensive data center solution to varying customer requirements. Sabey’s wholesale offerings extend our solutions portfolio, accommodating growing demand for multi-megawatt data center space in markets such as Ashburn, Seattle and New York.
Telehouse claim that the retail and co-location offerings will help Sabey further their global share by expanding into regions like Europe and Asia. Emphasizing this, Daniel Meltzer, Vice President of Sales and Leasing at Sabey Data Centers, said:
We are excited to partner with Telehouse. It will extend to our customers access to a global footprint in key hubs such as Frankfurt, London, and Hong Kong.
