This week, Servers.com, a global IaaS hosting platform, has announced the launch of its new data center in Hong Kong. The company says that it is expanding its presence in the APAC region.

The facility is a new data center situated at China Unicom’ recently launched facility. It claims to offer direct connectivity and low latency access to mainland China customers.

The company says that the new location is directly connected to its existing data centers in Amsterdam and Singapore. Servers.com also announced that the dedicated servers in Hong Kong are available for purchase.

Nick Dvas, Chief Operating Officer, Servers.com said:

The opening of the Hong Kong data center is a very important step to establishing our position in the Asian market. We launched the Singapore data center in mid-2016 and, based on the success of that center, we are looking forward to continued growth in the Asian market.

We are looking forward to providing collaborative customized solutions at cost-competitive rates to the Chinese market.
