RANK Software have partnered with Scalar to deliver cybersecurity solutions to enterprises. As per the terms of the deal, RANK will leverage their AI-based threat hunting platform VASA (Virtual Advisor to Security Analysts) along with Scalar’s managed security expertise to provide services to enterprises via the former’s security operations center (SOC).
RANK say that organizations need to identify and prevent security threats in real-time considering the increasing number of cyber attacks. They claim that these enterprises should ideally create security models which allow them to identify threats beforehand and eradicate them before they reach the surface area of their IT environments.
By partnering with Scalar, RANK believe that they will be facilitating an environment that encourages real-time detection. They say that this alliance will bring forth those issues which were hiding due to the large surface area of enterprise IT conditions.
Speaking about the benefits that the alliance will provide, RANK say that they will-
- Facilitate active learning by recording analysts’ feedback and allowing them to take action on similar alerts.
- Ingest data from more than 40 sources out of System Network Traffic and End Point log files.
- Build on the results of AI and machine learning to detect anomalies in the environment.
- Provide a flexible architecture and visibility into potential breaches.
With RANK Software and Scalar joining hands, enterprises in Canada will have to roll their socks up to fortify their cybersecurity prowess. It will be interesting to see how the partnership takes form, following the partnership between Bitdefender and Kaseya.
