Data center company RagingWire has partnered with Megaport to add the latter’s NaaS (Network-as-a-Service) solution to their cloud portfolio. With this addition, Raging seeks to provide their data center customers with easy access to network services in a bid to scale quickly.

According to RagingWire, customers are looking to reduce their time-to-scale when it comes to leveraging data center networks. They also believe that customers are saving costs without deploying their own PoPs (point of presence).

By adding Megaport’s software-defined network and portal to their cloud folio, RagingWire say that they will provide more options to their customers. They also added that customers will be able to integrate public clouds with their enterprise applications with ease.

Speaking about their intent to add Megaport’s solution, a delighted Bruno Berti, Vice President of Product Management at RagingWire, commented:

We are excited to add Megaport to RagingWire’s Cloud Connect portfolio. Through Cloud Connect, our data center customers now have more options than ever to connect their companies to the best clouds in the world and quickly and securely deploy hybrid cloud systems and applications.

Agreeing with Berti, Vincent English, CEO of Megaport added:

Customers using Megaport’s SDN, in combination with RagingWire’s world-class data centers, will benefit from next-generation hybrid cloud solutions with secure and direct interconnection to public Cloud Service Providers with higher performance, lower latency, greater control, and improved uptime.

Partnering with RagingWire gives their data center customers multiple configurable bandwidth options that are optimized for hybrid multi-cloud deployments that are now the standard IT strategy.
