Microsoft Hong Kong and Japanese telecommunications company NTT have partnered to offer hybrid cloud options in Hong Kong. They claim that, through this service, customers can run applications and store sensitive data on NTT’s private cloud or in the data center.
Microsoft provides the Azure cloud platform and Office 365 which is a cloud version of its collaboration software. Their partnership with NTT is to cater to MNCs in Hong Kong who want cloud based solutions.
NTT will utilize its information and communications technology infrastructure to enable Hong Kong businesses to adopt a hybrid solution which uses Microsoft Azure and offers public and private clouds.
President and CEO of NTT in East Asia Hideaki Ozaki said :
In Hong Kong, hybrid cloud is becoming the new normal. Our ultimate goal is to widen the adoption of cloud solutions as much as possible.
