Corero Network Security, a security solutions provider announced that it has entered into a technology alliance with Juniper Networks. The relationship enables the companies to combine their products – SmartWall Threat Defense System (TDS) and MX Series routers and QFX Series switches to create DDoS mitigation solutions.

On its blog, Corero said that Juniper Networks’ routing and switching solutions are utilized in more than 50% of Corero’s real-time DDoS protection deployments. The company added that as a result of Corero’s relationship with Juniper, organizations can take advantage of these proven solution designs for highly scalable and flexible DDoS mitigation capacity at the enterprise or provider network edge.
