Data center company Black Box have launched ‘Acuity’ micro data centers in a bid to provide cost-effective solutions to their enterprise clients. With this launch, Black Box say that they will be facilitating high speed and efficiency services to customers, especially in emergency situations.
According to Black Box, enterprises need data center services 24/7 when mission-critical workloads are at stake. They say that high server uptime and security are key parameters for enterprises to benchmark the performance of their data center services.
With the launch of ‘Acuity’ data centers, Black Box claim that they will be catering to the needs of high speed as well as efficiency in terms of services. They also say that with this launch, customers will be able to set up and deliver critical communications, applications, and information from anywhere in the world in a matter of hours.
Black Box say that in case of emergencies like natural disasters or harsh operating environments, increased efficiency could make the difference for the business. Speaking about the launch, Ken Kincel, Product Director of Edge Data Solutions at Black Box, commented:
