Switch Datacenters have announced the expansion of their Amsterdam data center campus in a bid to provide co-location services to large enterprises. With this expansion, Switch Datacenters will be adding 18,300 sq.feet of space to their current facility in Amsterdam to provide cloud-based data center services to businesses.
According to Switch, the Amsterdam’s location gives a strategic advantage to enterprises looking for data center services since it provides access to a global network. They say that by gaining access to this network, large enterprises can easily provide high-speed connectivity to their customers.
Switch say that this data center is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including high server power density requirements to match industry standards. They say that by aligning the facilities with the demands of their customers, Switch will be able to meet mission-critical needs of the business.
