Nokia have announced the opening of its first cloud hub in Singapore in order to boost cloud service offerings. This cloud hub is the first of Nokia’s Cloud Collaboration Hub, an initiative that aims to provide cloud services ranging from strategy, design, execution and delivery, at a global level.
According to Nokia, the cloud hub launched at Singapore is the first of their Cloud Collaboration plan which also includes rollouts at Texas in the U.S and Reading in the U.K at a later stage. They further added that these hubs will be launched by the end of the first quarter of 2018.
Pleased with the launch of their first cloud hub in Singapore, Deepak Harie, Head of Systems Integration, Global Services at Nokia commented:
We are excited to announce the first of our network of Cloud Collaboration Hubs. This represents the next phase of our cloud professional services offering. The Cloud Collaboration Hub model helps make services tangible, and accelerates operators’ move towards becoming digital service providers.
Nokia say that the Cloud Collaboration Hubs are supported by industry-ready infrastructure. In closing, they added that they also plan to open one such hub in India very soon.
